Pro tip: open your notes… yes, actually open them.
AkoStudy exists because NCEA prep shouldn't mean twelve open tabs, a dozen different apps, and hoping the study guide you found on Google is actually right.
The problem
Ask any NCEA student how they revise and you'll hear some version of the same story: a Google Classroom for assignments, a Quizlet set someone's older sibling made three years ago, a PDF a teacher emailed out once, and a group chat full of half-remembered advice about what's actually going to be on the exam. Nothing talks to anything else. Nothing is built specifically for the standard you're actually sitting.
What we're doing about it
AkoStudy puts classrooms, study guides, flashcards, practice exams, a study planner, and an AI tutor that actually knows your content in one calm, purpose-built place — organised around standards, levels and subjects the way NCEA is actually structured, not retrofitted from a generic study app built for somewhere else.
What we believe
Not a generic study app with NZ branding bolted on. Every guide, flashcard set and practice exam is written around the standards students are actually being assessed on.
We remember what it felt like scrambling between five different tabs the night before an exam. AkoStudy is the tool we wished we'd had.
